Laagan Kaayo in Tagaytay
Bound for Manila

I know we all have that random trips that we take without hesitation no matter how short or long it is. It just happens. Mine was in Tagaytay with my girlfriends πŸ™‚

It was around December, we embark on an over-the-weekend journey to Manila because why not? This trip was the shortest I’ve ever had so far. We arrived in Manila around 6 in the morning and headed straight to the terminal where PUVs bound for Nasugbo were parked. It was roughly a 3-hour journey from Manila to Tagaytay. Upon arrival, we realized that we wore the wrong clothes. Like shame on me for not realizing this sooner!!! Seriously, the weather was way too cold and we were wearing shorts and dress and didn’t bring any jacket. Good job girls for coming unprepared.

Our first stop was People’s Park in the Sky. It’s an abandoned unfinished mansion that was converted into a park during the Marco’s Era. It’s a 2-storey mansion. The first floor is where you can buy variety of souvenirs and other interesting stuff made especially from Tagaytay. The 2nd floor is empty and old and boring. Perhaps if the weather was good when we visited, the view from 2nd floor would be beautiful. But we were greeted by massive fog. Zero visibility. We’ve seen nothing but fog. Oh well. So we didn’t stay long there and went to the Sky Ranch after. It’s the famous amusement park in Tagaytay. We tried the tallest Ferris wheel in the Philippines (at that time >_< ). Welcome to Tagaytay!

It was raining already when we arrived. We can barely see the Taal Volcano. So please, if you wanna enjoy the view in Tagaytay, go here during Summer.
